1. Application of general terms and conditions
1.1 These general terms and conditions apply to all offers, reservation requests and agreements concluded with Camping Woltzdal and relate to camping pitches and accommodation rented out by Camping Woltzdal.
1.2 Camping Woltzdal expressly rejects the application of any other general terms and conditions.
1.3 Exceptions to these general terms and conditions are only possible if the parties have agreed to them in writing.
2. Reservations
2.1 Camping Woltzdal only accepts reservations from persons aged 18 or older.
2.2 The agreement is concluded after we have confirmed your reservation, and you undertake to pay the non-refundable deposit, see Art. 2.3. Your wishes will be taken into account as much as possible when making the reservation.
2.3 After confirmation of the reservation, the tenant shall pay a deposit of 40% to Camping Woltzdal within 7 days to account number: IBAN: LU58 0030 5843 2026 0000| BIC: BGLLLULL. This deposit is non-refundable. You are responsible for taking out the necessary insurance or using the cancellation fund. The cancellation fund covers: serious illness, death of yourself or one of your travel companions, parents, parents-in-law, brother, sister, brother-in-law, sister-in-law or your own children, or natural disasters.
2.4 Four weeks prior to arrival, you must have paid the remaining balance to the specified account number (Art. 2.3). If this is not done after a reminder, and the relevant tenant has not checked in on the day of arrival, we will consider this a cancellation on the effective date of the agreement.
2.5 In the event of cancellation, the tenant will owe the following cancellation fees:
- For cancellations after booking: 40% of the rental price (the deposit).
- For cancellations up to 4 weeks before the arrival date: 50% of the rental price.
- For cancellations 1 to 4 weeks before the arrival date: 90% of the rental price
- For cancellations within one week before the arrival date: the entire rental price.
- For cancellations on or after the start date: the entire rental price. You are responsible for taking out the necessary insurance or using the cancellation fund.
2.6 One car is included in the reservation. For an additional car, you pay £4 per night.
2.7 The reserved pitch/accommodation will remain reserved for you until 7 p.m. on the day of arrival. If you have not arrived by that time, without notifying our campsite, your reservation will be cancelled and no refund will be given.
2.8 The maximum number of persons allowed is 6 per camping pitch, of which a maximum of 4 adults (aged 15 and above). An additional tent is permitted. An additional tent is defined as a tent with two sleeping places and a surface area of no more than 4m2.
2.9 Reservations are strictly personal and non-transferable to third parties. Only the tenant specified in the reservation and his travelling companions are entitled to use the pitch or accommodation.
3. Check-in/check-out
3.1 Check-in is from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Upon arrival, guests are required to show their passport or identity card. Camping pitches and accommodations are available from 3 p.m. on the day of arrival.
3.2 Pitches are allocated by staff or confirmed by email when booking. Changing pitches is only permitted with the permission of staff.
3.3 On the day of departure, you have until 10:00 to vacate your pitch or accommodation and leave it clean.
3.4 Camping Woltzdal reserves the right to carry out a final inspection of the condition and completeness of the camping pitch or accommodation from 9:30 a.m. on the day of departure.
3.5 If the accommodation is not left clean and tidy, a charge of €50 will be made.
3.6 No refund will be given in the event of a late arrival or early departure.
3.7 If a guest forgets personal belongings upon departure, Camping Woltzdal can store them for a maximum of one month. The return or collection of these belongings will only take place at the request and expense and risk of the guest. Camping Woltzdal does not offer a home delivery service. If the guest wishes to have the belongings returned, he/she must arrange for a pick-up or courier service himself/herself. After the one-month storage period, any right to return the belongings expires.
4. Visitors
4.1 Visitors must be registered at reception.
4.2 Visitors pay a daily rate of €4.00 per day. For an overnight stay, the price applicable for the relevant period applies.
5. Rules of conduct
5.1 A maximum speed of 5 km per hour applies on our campsite.
5.2 From 10 p.m. to 8 a.m., all activities that may disturb the peace and quiet of our guests are prohibited, such as driving a car or motorbike on the campsite, turning on the radio or television, talking loudly, disposing of glass in containers, etc.
5.3 Adults are responsible for the behaviour of children entrusted to their care. They must not disturb the peace and safety of the campsite guests.
5.4 Barbecuing is permitted. Be extremely careful with fire and never throw away a burning match or cigarette. Lighting open fires is prohibited.
5.5 Tap water is not intended for play purposes. Please use the Woltz river for this.
5.6 Smoking is prohibited in our public areas and accommodations.
5.7 In case of fire or other serious emergencies, immediately report to reception and alert the emergency services (112). Police (113). Fire extinguishers are available; see the lampposts. The owner and emergency response team can be reached in case of emergency on: 00352 661 707 313.
5.8 Camping Woltzdal reserves the right to make changes to the layout and opening hours of the campsite facilities.
6. Early termination of the agreement by the owner
6.1 In the event of non-compliance with the regulations/rules of conduct, the entire group will be asked to leave the campsite. The owner may terminate the agreement with immediate effect: - if the tenant, fellow holidaymaker(s) and/or third parties fail to comply or fail to comply properly with the obligations under the agreement, the camping regulations and/or government regulations, despite prior verbal and/or written warnings, to such an extent that, according to the standards of reasonableness and fairness of the owner, it cannot be expected that the agreement will be continued. - if, despite prior verbal and/or written warnings, the tenant, fellow holidaymaker(s) cause nuisance to the owner and/or other tenants, or spoil the good atmosphere on or in the immediate vicinity of the campsite. - if, despite prior verbal and/or written warnings, the tenant uses the pitch and/or his camping equipment in a manner contrary to the intended use of the site. - if the camping equipment does not comply with generally recognised safety standards. - Theft, vandalism, aggression and drug use are among the reasons for immediate removal from the campsite.
6.2 After termination, the tenant must ensure that his pitch and/or camping equipment is cleared and that the site is vacated as soon as possible, but no later than within 4 hours.
6.3 If the tenant fails to vacate the pitch, the owner is entitled to do so at the tenant's expense. The owner is not liable for damage resulting from or related to the vacating of the pitch, unless the damage was caused by the owner's negligence. Any storage costs shall be borne by the holidaymaker.
6.4 If the tenant believes that the owner has wrongfully terminated the agreement, he/she must immediately notify the owner and may submit the dispute to the civil court or, at the latest within 30 days of removal, to the Disputes Committee.
6.5 In principle, the tenant remains obliged to pay the agreed amount.
7. Waste
7.1 You must separate your waste and deposit it in the designated container.
7.2 It is prohibited to deposit anything other than household waste in our containers. Violation of this rule will result in a charge. CCTV surveillance is in operation at all times.
8. Pets
8.1 Pets are allowed on camping pitches (max. 3) on condition that they are kept on a leash and taken outside the campsite to do their business. Please clean up after your pet and dispose of waste in the designated waste bin. Pitbulls, Dobermans and Rottweilers are not welcome in Luxembourg.
9. Own risk
9.1 Campers and visitors enter our site at their own risk. We accept no liability whatsoever for damage and/or accidents caused by third parties. By entering the site, campers and/or visitors expressly waive any right to compensation.
9.2 We cannot be held responsible for unforeseen events, force majeure, natural disasters or legal decisions that disrupt, interrupt or prevent your stay and the entertainment/facilities at the campsite.
10. Damage
10.1 Damage must be reported to reception, both damage to property in our accommodation and on our grounds. Damage costs and any consequential costs will be charged.
11. Collection costs
11.1 The tenant shall be liable for any reasonable extrajudicial costs incurred by the owner after a notice of default. If the total amount is not paid on time, the statutory interest rate may be charged on the remaining amount after a written reminder.
12. Applicable law
12.1 These General Terms and Conditions are governed by Luxembourg law and in the event of a legal dispute concerning these General Terms and Conditions or in relation to this website, the Luxembourg courts shall have jurisdiction.
12.2 Camping Woltzdal reserves the right to amend the following general terms and conditions at any time, with or without notice. The latest version of the general terms and conditions can be found on our website www.campingwoltzdal.lu.
